UA-EACC's Children's Theater Performance - Peter and Wendy

UA-EACC, Missoula Children's Theatre, and area children will present Peter and Wendy, an original adaptation of the classic Peter Pan, on the stage in the UA-EACC Fine Arts Center on Friday, June 26th at 6:00 pm.

The play is the culmination of this week's Missoula Children's Theater Camp.  The Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) touring production is complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup.  MCT Tour Actor/Directors conducted rehearsals throughout the week in preparation for the show.

The Peter and Wendy production is an original musical adaptation of the classic Peter Pan tale. When Captain Hook sends his right-hand man, Smee, on a quest to capture Peter Pan, it's seemingly business as usual, at first. Little does Hook realize what fantastic adventures await him and his pirate posse in their search for the elusive Peter Pan. Mistaken identities, ever-morphing clouds, a classy crocodile, some very lost boys, and a fickle shadow all add to the mayhem. Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Darling embark on a quest of their own and find themselves trekking everywhere from Hawaii to the North Pole in search of their three missing children.  With help from the earth-friendly Neverlanders, exotic Neverland creatures, and faithful Tinker Bell, the Darling children are found, disputes are ultimately resolved, and everyone, including Captain Hook, finds a place where they truly belong.

The local cast features Addie Carden as the Peter Pan, Peyton Johnson as Wendy, Jase White as Captain Hook, Julia McCracken as Peter's Shadow, Genta Alsup as Mr. Darling, Miley Davis as Mrs. Darling, Liam Hennessey as John, Oliver Swan as Micheal, Lucy Hall as Tinker Bell, Pasyn Beltran as Crocodile, Kory May as Petey, and Arya Andrews as Tiger Lily. The Lost Boys will include Jordan Casey as Tootles, Leia Scarborough as Nibs, Paisley Kern as Slightly, and Avery Halbert as Curly. The Pirates include Helen Claire Jones as Starkey, Lillian Hennessey as Ed, Ella Foster as Jukes, Ellie Etoch as Noodler, and Floyd Keahey as Sky Lights. The Neverlanders will be played by Sadie Busby, Mia McNally, Eliza Branham, and Rayla Scott. The Clouds will be played by Audie Keahey, Kolby Weens, Maddie Foster, Hadley Kern, and Mary Garrott Carter.

Tickets for Peter and Wendy can be purchased at the door for $5.00 and seating is general admission. The public is cordially invited to attend.  For more information, contact Nick Hess at 870-633-4480, ext. 331.
