Adult Education Open House

UA-EACC's Adult Education program will participate in the statewide Arkansas' Adult Education Open House on Thursday, September 17 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. The Adult Education program is located in the Workforce Center on UA-EACC's campus at 1700 Newcastle Road in Forrest City.

Current and former students will highlight how they have benefitted from the free programs, and instructors will provide details about various education and opportunities offered through the UA-EACC's Adult Education program including:

• Integrated Education and Training, which allows students to earn job industry certifications or credentials while improving their basic academic skills;
• Acquiring an Arkansas High School diploma through GED® preparation;
• English Language Acquisition (ELA);
• Bridge to College -  Refresh your basic skills before you take the college entrance exam

"We are proud to highlight the many educational opportunities available through UA-EACC's Adult Education program and connect the community with resources that can help them reach their goals," said Janice Todd, UA-EACC's Director of Adult Education. "Whether students are looking to improve their skills, earn a diploma, or prepare for a new career, our program offers the guidance and flexibility they need to succeed," she added.
