Title IX Statement and Reporting Information

The University of Arkansas East Arkansas Community College (UA-EACC) is committed to maintaining a positive learning and working environment for all students and employees. The College does not tolerate sexual misconduct, including sexual harassment, which is a form of discrimination based on sex, as well as other prohibited conduct under Title IX. Sexual harassment is a violation of federal law, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.

Individuals seeking additional information about UA-EACC's Title IX policies and procedures may consult the Student Handbook (located within the College Catalog) or the Faculty/Staff Handbook.

Reporting Sexual Misconduct

Reports of sexual misconduct may be made at any time to the appropriate Title IX officials listed below:

Title IX Training and Educational Resources

In accordance with federal Title IX regulations issued by the U.S. Department of Education, the University of Arkansas East Arkansas Community College (UAEACC) provides access to training materials used to educate employees on Title IX compliance, reporting procedures, and institutional responsibilities. These materials are available for public review and are incorporated into employee training throughout the academic year, including Faculty/Staff Convocation and professional development sessions.

The following materials include reference documents and training resources provided by the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights and other professional organizations. UAEACC utilizes nationally recognized training resources, including offerings from the SUNY Student Conduct Institute, to support up-to-date training aligned with current practices in student conduct and Title IX administration.
