Admission Categories

UAEACC offers multiple admission pathways designed to meet students where they are and support their educational goals. Whether you are pursuing a degree, transferring credits, participating in an Early College program, or enrolling for personal or professional development, our admissions team is here to help you get started.

Degree-Seeking Students

Degree-seeking students are those pursuing a certificate or degree program at UAEACC.

To complete the admissions process, students should submit the following:

1. Application for Admission

Complete and submit the UAEACC Application for Admission.

2. Official Academic Records

• First-time college students should provide an official high school transcript or GED transcript.
• Transfer students must submit official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities.
• Additional documentation may be required for certain programs of study.

3. Immunization Documentation

Arkansas law requires full-time students to provide proof of immunization against measles and rubella (MMR). Official records may be obtained from a healthcare provider, high school, or local health department.

4. Placement Information

Students who have not previously completed college-level English or mathematics coursework may be required to provide ACT, ACCUPLACER, or other approved placement scores to ensure appropriate course placement.

ACCUPLACER testing is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Non-Degree Seeking Students

Early College Students

UAEACC's Early College programs provide eligible high school students the opportunity to earn college credit, workforce credentials, and valuable postsecondary experience while completing high school requirements.

Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent Enrollment allows students to earn both high school and college credit through approved coursework offered in partnership with participating school districts.

Secondary Career Center

The Secondary Career Center provides career and technical education opportunities that allow students to gain workforce skills, earn industry-recognized credentials, and complete college coursework aligned with high-demand career pathways.

Students participating in Early College programs must:

• Complete the required admissions application.
• Meet eligibility requirements established by UAEACC and their participating high school.
• Submit any required academic documentation and placement information.
• Obtain required approvals from school administrators and parents/guardians, when applicable.
• Adhere to all UAEACC academic, attendance, and student conduct expectations.

Transient Students

Transient students are currently enrolled at another college or university and wish to take courses at UAEACC that will transfer back to their home institution.

Students should:

• Complete an Application for Admission.
• Provide documentation demonstrating good standing at their home institution.
• Verify transferability of coursework with their home institution prior to registration.

Special Status Students

Special status students enroll in coursework without seeking a certificate or degree from UAEACC. These students may take classes for professional development, workforce training, personal enrichment, or other educational purposes.

Depending on the course selected, transcripts and placement information may not be required. Students enrolling in courses with prerequisites may be asked to provide additional documentation.
