Admission Requirements

UAEACC is committed to providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality educational opportunities through its open admissions philosophy. The College welcomes students from diverse backgrounds and provides pathways for traditional students, adult learners, transfer students, and Early College students to pursue their educational goals.

Students may be admitted to UAEACC through one of the following pathways:

  • Graduation from an accredited high school.
  • Successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) examination.
  • Transfer from another accredited college or university.
  • Enrollment as an Early College or concurrent enrollment student through an approved secondary school partnership.

Admission Checklist

To complete the admissions process, students should submit the following documents as applicable to their admission status. Official documentation should be provided as soon as possible following enrollment.

  1. Application for Admission

Complete and submit the UAEACC Application for Admission.

  1. Official Academic Records

Students must submit appropriate academic documentation based on their enrollment status:

  • First-time college students should provide an official high school transcript or GED transcript.
  • Transfer students must provide official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities.
  • Additional documents may be required for certain programs or enrollment categories.
  1. Immunization Documentation

Arkansas law requires all full-time students born on or after January 1, 1957, to provide proof of immunization against measles and rubella (MMR). Students should submit official immunization records from their healthcare provider, high school, or local health department.

  1. Placement Information

Students who have not previously completed college-level English or mathematics coursework may be required to provide ACT, ACCUPLACER, or other approved placement scores to ensure appropriate course placement.

UAEACC offers ACCUPLACER testing Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through the Testing Center. Placement testing helps students begin coursework at the appropriate academic level and access support services that promote success.

Next Steps

Once all required admissions documents have been received, students can work with an advisor to develop an academic plan, register for classes, and connect with the resources needed to achieve their educational and career goals.
